Kids Snow Parks

While the whole of Hakuba is a fascinating winter wonderland, there are several dedicated kids snow parks where kids can go tobogganing, snow tubing, play with kids snow equipment and toys.

Happo Usagi Kids Park

New for the 2017/18 season, Usagi Kids Park located at the top of the Happo One Gondola, will help ensure that there is always a kids park with enough snow to operate early in the season.

Sakka Kids Park

Sakka Kids Park located in Wadano, it is the main kids park that opens up once there is enough snow. Probably one of the more popular kids snow parks in the valley. There is a cafeteria at the base of the park for the parents to watch from and enjoy a refreshment. This is where the "Snow Chao" event is held.

Hakuba 47 Kids Park

Hakuba 47 has a small kids park with a separate sled and ski slopes serviced by a magic carpet. If your children do not want what to use the magic carpet, they can play with the sleds/toboggans for free.

Goryu Kids Park

Goryu, like the Sakka kids park, has a large indoor cafeteria, where the parents can sit and watch their children through the large glass windows. There is also a large indoor kids play area in the Escal Plaza building at Goryu, where the children can escape the elements and try their skills on the jungle gym.

Hakuba Base Camp

Hakuba Base Camp, Hakuba’s new pickup & drop off location, arrives in Echoland.

Nagano Snow Shuttle, Hakuba’s leading airport transfer service, has recently completed its new bus terminal in Echoland aimed at significantly improving the guest experience. Hakuba Base Camp is located at the bottom of the main road in Echoland and will offer a wide range of services to newly arriving and departing Hakuba visitors.

The new facility is called Hakuba Base Camp and will be a much-needed addition to the existing Happo Bus Terminal located in Happo, which has long been over capacity. The new welcome centre will have a bus information counter, a lift pass and tour counter, along with a place to buy food and drinks for the road.

In addition to serving as the bus terminal for Nagano Snow Shuttle, Hakuba Base Camp will become the hub where shuttle buses from the resorts will pick up guests in the Echoland area instead of the main street of Echoland. Evergreen Ski School and Hakuba Snow Sports will also use Hakuba Base Camp as a pickup point for any customers in the area.
