Blue River Chalets are two identical houses side by side in Echoland, a minute's walk from Sounds Like Café and the main street. Clad in oak and brown timber, they sit quietly among the trees.
Both bedrooms are downstairs, each with its own shower room, and each can be made up as a king or two singles. Upstairs, the living, dining and kitchen look out through windows full of trees, with Happo-One in the distance; a sofa bed there takes a fifth and sixth guest. Book both chalets and twelve people can stay a few steps apart, each family behind its own door.
The kitchen has an AEG induction cooktop, a Miele oven-microwave and a Bosch dishwasher, with a Nespresso machine and French press. For the evenings there is a 55-inch Sony OLED and a Bose speaker.
Underfloor heating runs through every room, each with its own thermostat, and the drying room has a boot dryer and the washer-dryer. In summer the barbecue can be booked from early May until late autumn, and cots and high chairs are available on request.
