Eminence is a pair of three-bedroom chalets beside the Kamishiro forest, at the foot of Hakuba 47. The lifts are a minute away by car, and Goryu is close by.
Each house is built around an open living room with an EcoSmart fire at its centre. The kitchen is all Miele: oven, microwave, induction cooktop and dishwasher, with a proper set of chef's knives. Underfloor heating runs through every room, each with its own control, so the bedrooms can stay cool while the living room stays warm.
All three bedrooms can be made up with a king or two singles. The master has its own bathroom with a bath; there is a second bathroom, also with a bath, and a separate toilet.
Book direct and a 9-seat Toyota HiAce 4WD comes with the house, enough to reach all ten resorts in the valley. In winter, boots go into the drying room and the car into the garage.
In summer, there is a private barbecue area in front of the house, which can be booked from early May until late autumn. Grill, charcoal, table and chairs are ready; you bring the food.
For larger groups, Powdersuites and Powderhouse are close by.
