I am a professional photographer with over thirty years of experience in the industry, specialising in sport, architecture, travel, studio & all commercial advertising. I studied photography in Sydney for two years. I worked for six years as an assistant for one of Australia's most prominent advertising photographers of that era before going out on my own.

Originally growing up in the surf on the northern beaches of Sydney (Manly Beach), Australia, I am now based in the beauty of the mountains of Hakuba Nagano, Japan. I have been coming to Japan since 2003 and have been a resident in Hakuba since 2011. I fell in love instantly with Japan on my first visit, the culture, people, the landscape, the mountains, the… Well, pretty much everything!!!!!

I still work within the commercial photographic world both in Japan, Australia and elsewhere around the globe regularly, though I'm predominantly here in Hakuba. I work as an on-mountain photographer for a local backcountry guiding company during the winter months. We take clients out from the resorts to high alpine or virgin powder options on the backside of the resorts or into the trees.
