Evergreen Ski School is the place to go if you're looking for top-quality ski and snowboard instruction in the Hakuba Valley. As the largest ski school in the valley, they offer a wide range of lessons and tours to suit all ages and abilities. With locations at Happo, Iwatake, Tsugaike, and Cortina, you'll have plenty of options for where to hit the slopes.

Happo One Ski School is a smaller more flexible school. They have about 10 English-speaking instructors who offer private lessons anywhere in the valley. They can offer you flexible start dates in the morning and afternoon. Half days are 2 hours and full days are 4 hours. They tend to be more reasonably priced as well.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled ski or snowboard lesson start time. Lessons usually start on time, so it's important to be punctual. Please note that lesson prices do not include lift tickets or equipment rentals, which must be purchased separately.
