Guest Experience Host — Hakuba Winter Season 2026/27

Join The Hakuba Collection’s guest experience team for winter 2026/27 and help create exceptional stays in Hakuba. Staff accommodation provided.

We are looking for one more person to join The Hakuba Collection team for the upcoming winter season.

The role is varied and guest-focused, with each day bringing a mix of responsibilities. While the following is not an exhaustive list, it provides a good overview of what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Welcoming guests on arrival and transferring them from Hakuba Station or the bus terminal to their accommodation. A valid International Driving Permit or Japanese driving licence is required.
  • Transporting guests around the resort when required.
  • Ensuring each property is fully prepared for arrival, with all guest amenities, equipment and facilities in place.
  • Checking that utilities, heating and other in-property systems are operating correctly and set appropriately before arrival.
  • Delivering luggage that guests have forwarded in advance to their accommodation.
  • Welcoming guests at the property and providing an in-person introduction to the accommodation when required.
  • Answering guest questions and assisting with requests throughout their stay.
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks, which may include collecting lift passes on behalf of guests and clearing snow from vehicles.
  • Pitching in and assisting our housekeeping team from time to time on particularly busy changeover days, helping ensure properties are prepared and ready for arriving guests.
  • Assisting with general office duties, including responding to guest emails and telephone enquiries when required.

Above all, the role is about helping ensure each guest enjoys a smooth, comfortable and memorable stay in Hakuba, while being willing to support the wider team wherever needed during the busy winter season.
